Printing Stuff and Making Friends

We had an interesting assortment of print jobs last week.

We had our first repeat customer—our neighbor, Jenny, needed another large photo printed, this time for a memorial she and her husband were going to. We delivered the finished print to their house and had a lovely long chat with them. We also got to see the previous print we had done for them framed and hanging in their hallway.

We had Dave contact us to also have a photo printed. The printing was easy. Catching up with Dave to deliver it, not so much. After a couple of reschedules I finally managed to meet him at the auto shop, where he just had some work done. He was very happy with his print and plans on sending us a photo of the framed and hung finale. We love to see what people have done with their prints.

We also had another gentleman contact us about printing some album covers. He is selling his collection but wanted to have copies of the covers to keep. He also creates collage art and may want to print pieces for that. The quality of the paper is better for art projects. I printed one of my own album covers and we met him at Red Ocotillo to see if he approved. He did and gave us 4 albums to make prints from. Later that day we delivered them to his house and got to see his collection. He was extremely happy with the quality of the prints and with our prices, and he’s hoping we can work together often. We even got to meet his cat. Another happy customer and another friend made. That’s what we call a good week.
