Last week on Tuesday we got a call from someone asking if we could make them a banner that they could pick up the next day. Luckily we had some banner material on hand plus some fancy schmancy plastic grommets we were anxious to try out so we told her to send us the file and the specifics of what she needed and we would give her a quote.

It turned out she was with the Julian Gem and Mineral Show (which we are huge fans of) and their show was that weekend, starting on Friday. She needed to be able to pick up the banner no later than Wednesday morning—aka, the next day.

We got to work on the banner, printed it and put the grommets in then called her to let her know she could pick it up in about an hour. She lives in Shelter Valley and, once again, we saved someone from having to drive to Indio to get their products printed. She was very grateful and on Saturday we went to Julian to go to the gem show, see our banner hanging and to buy a new teapot at the Julian tea shop (another favorite of ours).

PS: The gem and mineral show was great and we ended up buying a pendant from our client. She had beautiful things. Funny how things work out. And we thought the banner looked great!
